I now never do literally ANYTHING with G-hub without backing up the settings.json file first. I can't remember what happened for the third reinstall but it was necessary. The first time I had to reinstall it cost me the complex lighting animation I spent literally hours making. Reinstalling was the only thing that would fix it. It wasn't hung up mind you, it acted like it was suppose to be black, as in you'd start G-hub, it would load like normal, then the screen would turn black.

Twice because after checking out the screen sampler lighting mode it gave me a black screen that nothing I could do could rid of. In the short amount of time I've owned this since November, I've already had to reinstall it 3 times. Comparing G-hub with the previous software Logitech gaming software, strikes me as the old saying "sometimes you need to take one step backwards to take two steps forwards." Only Logitech forgot the latter part of that. If G-hub problems had its own subreddit on reddit you'd probably see multiple posts complaining about it daily. Repeat the similar thing for Ctrl V and then you're done.įYI. Drag click the new macro and carry it over to the G1 button and let go. Then click save on the bottom and you'll see the new macro in the upper left.

If you did it right you'll see Ctrl +C in its own red rectangle. Select the type of macro between the 4 options, usually it'll be no repeat. In the upper left click the + symbol called assignments. Click to expand. In G-hub click on the picture of the keyboard.
